Another week, another new group of Kits2go in the store to make your scrapbooking time more productive. Pick up a couple of these kits, grab some coordinating cardstock, pattern paper and embellishments and complete 4 pages in no time at all.
Here's a few that are available today...
Let's take a closer look at a few of the Halloween items we have on display. We have had to reorder some of the new Halloween papers 3 times already and Halloween is still a month away. When you see these new lines in person, you will understand why they have been in such demand. Quite a few of the papers are double-sided and one side is generally more generic and can be used for something other than Halloween.
Melissa used black lace as a border on this layout to give it extra dimension. The paper she used was by Dream Street Papers, a local paper company here in Gilbert. Click on the photo to see this page in an enlarged view.
Shown below is a close-up of the lace and ribbon combination she used along the border.
This layout was created with the new Doodlebug paper. The letters from the title "boo crew" were die cut from Best Creations glitter paper. This brand of glitter paper is our favorite because the glitter stays on the paper, not your hands, and clothes and hair, etc! Inking was done around the scallop green cardstock and black buttons were lined up along the bottom of the page while a spider dangles from the other side of this page.

Take the time--to sign up for these great classes we have available this month. October is busy month here at Scrapbook Barn with all the classes we have in store for you. I showed you Melissa's banner class on yesterday's blog and I am continuing on with the next class being offered by Caroline Miller - the highly anticipated Girlfriends Canvas Book!
Caroline used the beautiful Teresa Collins paper to construct this book and you are going to love it! As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so I am just going to let the photos of this class speak for themselves. This is another MUST TAKE class!
Class Info: Saturday, Oct 3rd - 10am - 2pm
and Tuesday, Oct. 6 = 10am - 2pm
Don't wait too long to sign up for this class offered by Melissa. Class dates are Thursday, Oct. 1 from 10am to 3pm and Saturday, Oct. 3 from 4 - 8pm.
